Penn State Wilkes-Barre's Women's Basketball team cruised to a 72-52 victory Friday night over Penn State Scranton. The Lady Lions grabbed an early 10 point lead after the 1st quarter and never looked back. The defense was the key in the game, holding PSU Scranton to 31% FG shooting in the entire game.
Yasmine Montgomery led the way with 21 points on 10-14 shooting from the field, along with 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Her efficiency on offense was a huge factor in our 20 point victory margin. Jackie Rabender added 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 steals, and Raven Monet Kemper contributed 14 points.
Their next game is tomorrow night on the road at 6pm against Penn State Schuylkill. Let's Go Lady Lions!
