Kemper Looks to Lead Women against PSU Scranton

Tomorrow night at 6pm, the Women's Basketball team will go up against Penn State Scranton in their first road game of the semester. The Lady Lions came away with a victory in their first matchup of the season, with the final score 62-43. Raven Monet Kemper had a double-double in that game, and will look to continue where she left off. She is averaging 13.5 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 3.0 APG, and 1.4 SPG. The team plays best when she is firing on all cylinders.

Freshman Guard Yasmine Montgomery has also been a huge addition to the team. In 4 games this season, she is averaging 12.5 PPG (40% from the field), 5.3 RPG, 3.5 APG, and 2.8 SPG. She has been a huge spark off the bench so far.

Another player that will have to step up is Senior Forward Jackie Rabender. Her leadership will be a major key is helping the team during the last 7 games, which are all on the road.

The Lady Lions enter the game 7-6 overall, with a 2-5 conference record. Let's go Lady Lions!
