Men's Basketball Drops Both Games in Lycoming Tournament

Over the weekend, the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Men's Basketball team lost a pair of games in the Lycoming Tournament. The first game they played was against Lycoming College, with a final score of 94-84. The Lions played hard the entire game, but were just unable to come away with the victory. Kevin Silverberg had a game high 22 points, along with 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Tomir Gibbs chipped in with 12 points, 5 steals, 3 rebounds and 3 assists, and Ameer Biddle added 9 points.

In their second matchup of the tournament, against DeSales University, the team struggled offensively, losing 69-53. However, after only scoring 15 points in the first half, the team showed some resiliency the rest of the game, outscoring the Bulldogs by 5. Kevin Silverberg led the way with 13 points and 3 assists, while Tomir Gibbs had 10 points and 4 rebounds.

The Lions look come bounce back in their next game on Tuesday November 21 at 7pm, when they travel to Wilkes University. Come out and support our Lions!
