Women's Basketball starts off season 3-0

Our Penn State Wilkes-Barre Lady Lions start off the season 3-0. This is the best start so far for current Head Coach Ron Strothers, who was able to give us a few words about the game. "It was a hard fought game, we were a little tired with playing back-to-back games. Also, our defensive effort was great in the fourth quarter."

Last Night PSU Wilkes-Barre went up against Lehigh Carbon Community College, defeating them 74-66. Our girls played a hard game all the way through, not giving up any chances for the other team to make a comeback. There was a lot of teamwork shown out on the court, sharing the ball quite evenly. They were led by Alaena Lloyd with 20 points. Others key contributors were Chaquana Zendarski and Elisha Hernandez who both had 16 points a piece, and Raven Monet-Kemper with 15.

The next game will be home this Saturday November 11, 2017 @ 1PM against Central Penn. Please come out and support!
