PSU Wilkes-Barre Men's Basketball '17-'18 preview

Our PSU Wilkes-Barre Men's Basketball team will be entering their sixth season in the PSUAC Conference in 2017-2018. Leshawn Hammet, former player for St. Francis in Loretto PA, will be entering his third year as Head Coach. Last year the team made it to the PSUAC Semi-Finals, losing by six to PSU Greater Alleghany.

This year, our main focus will be on returner Shakur Jackson, our returning point guard who is here for his third year. The team will need him to keep control of the team. Two of our major scorers, Colton Lewis and Christopher Cantine, are no longer with us as they both signed to play over in Spain this upcoming season.

Last year, the team ended the season 14-13 overall and 9-7 in conference play. This year, we are looking to be just as much as a threat, if not more to win the conference. With our additions of tranfers and freshman, we will look to make it back to the playoffs, and go far.

Our first game will be played @LCCC at 8 PM on November 2, 2017
